Inktower Here I Come

•September 14, 2009 • Comments Off

Monday morning and I’m on my way to the studio. Daniel just told me that the lyrics for the latest Esko-song are complete. Can’t wait to hear them!

Yesterday I found a cool app for the iPhone called 4-track. A great 4-track studio in your phone that actually sounds & works great. I Love You IPhone!!! Haha! :-)

Eskobar Covers Lady Ga Ga!

•September 12, 2009 • Comments Off

A while ago we had an off day at the Inktower Studios and decided to just have some fun so we decided to record a quick cover version of some song and started listening to a few different tracks and found Lady Ga Ga’s “Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I Can Say” to work pretty well as an acoustic version…

The result has just been layin’ around for a while but now we thought we’d share it on our MYSPACE!

A day on the town

•September 11, 2009 • Comments Off

Hey friends,
Today I had a great day out on the town. Did sone work, had some meetings, bought a gift for my father and went to the best whiskybar in Stockholm called Glenfiddich Warehouse. I had lunch with a whisky expert and he gave me a single malt – Ardbeg Renessance to try. Gooood!!! :-)
I don’t know why I look so angry in the picture, cause I sure was a happy camper when I went home! :-D

Take care friends.

Moving On

•September 11, 2009 • Comments Off

I have, after much consideration, decided to leave the music and move on with other things in life. This decision was far from easy, but the time off we have had from the last album has allowed me to think things through properly and I truly feel that it is the right thing to do.

The Eskobar years have been a wonderful time and I will keep all those fun, beautiful and rewarding memories close to my heart for the rest of my life.

Even though I am moving on, I will of course follow Daniel and Frederik’s work with great interest as they will continue to provide us all with the wonderful music of Eskobar.

Thank you all for a wonderful time!

Love,

Robert

Even this shoe aint made for running, but it will still take me to my goal. Today I’m invited by an Italian Wine producer to try their new wines.

It’s a dirty job but someone has to do it! :-)

are made for walking and not for running. I almost broke a leg while running to catch a bus after todays studio session.

We’ve been working in the Daniel-owned “Inktower Studios” and we did some great work on a great new song. Now it’s time for Elvis, Marie & soccer. Go Sweden, GO!!! :-)
